It’s no secret that cabinet electrical outlets can be rather confusing.
One of the most confusing things about cabinet electrical outlets is that they can be tricky to navigate. For one, they typically have a round, cylindrical plug on the front that is used to connect to a rectangular plug on an outlet on your wall. For another, they can also have a round, rectangular or square plug on the front that connects to a round or rectangular plug on the outlet.
In our case, the first thing we needed to do was find the round plug for the rectangular plug on the wall. The second thing we needed to do was find a round, rectangular or square plug. Well, that’s where cabinet electrical outlets come in. You have to find the round plug on the front of your outlet. You also need to find a rectangular plug on the front of your outlet.
While you can use anything your fancy as you like, it’s a nice touch if your power source is a cabinet. That way you can also have a round, rectangular or square plug on the front of your outlet.
Well, I guess we should have done that first.
Well, to be fair I did need to find the round and rectangular plugs. We have a round one, but the rectangular one was pretty much a waste of time because its not going to fit a rectangular pipe, anyway.
For those of you who don’t know, a round plug is usually the size of an old-fashioned water-pump valve. We have to have one of those, but its a round one. And that’s because we can’t find the old-fashioned ones so we got a square one instead.
Its a shame its not rectangular but we all wish we could have a round one. You can read more about our round and rectangular plugs in our article on the subject.
They were both round because they were the most common. There were a few rectangular ones as well, but they were rarer.
There’s no way to get a rectangular one, sorry.
