I have always been pretty curious about electricity and electrical engineering. I’ve always thought of it as an interesting thing to do and I’ve always had a passion for it. Ive always thought, I would like to work in an engineering lab, or at least like to work in an academic lab.
It can be difficult to work in an academic lab, or even an engineering lab, because it requires a lot of specialized equipment, often requiring years of study and training to become proficient in. For example, you have to learn how to wire a circuit to measure the impedance of a load. You have to know how to read a printed circuit board (PCB) so you can understand the instructions on the board and understand the signals it sends to the controller.
Well, it’s not too bad, in fact it can be quite fun. I personally find the atmosphere at an academic lab to be quite stimulating. There are often students conducting experiments and experiments are often extremely exciting. These lab environments give us a chance to share our knowledge with others and I can see why it can be so relaxing. However, it can be a bit daunting.
I’m still learning to use a computer in this lab and I have yet to make a mistake. To be honest, I’m not a very good student. So trying to learn how to use a computer is not terribly difficult, but I’ve yet to make a mistake. It’s not going to be easy though.
The lab environment does have its problems. The first and biggest problem is the fact that the lab equipment is all over the place. The electrical lab is pretty small, and thus hard to navigate, but this can be frustrating if you don’t know where the electrical components are located. The second issue is the lack of proper lighting. You can’t just turn on lights and expect to be able to see.
The electrical lab doesn’t have any kind of ambient lighting. It’s bright on the inside. Its bright on the outside, but there is only one wall of the lab. You cant illuminate the space on both sides of that wall.
To remedy this, they have a couple of options: either use a light that’s mounted on the wall, or simply have a light switch on the wall. The second option is more convenient, but its probably not going to work well for most of the lab. The first option is probably going to work much better.
I couldnt believe how much the video game industry has been embracing the idea of ambient lighting in video games. In the video game industry, we have the power to control illumination, and it is very common in the game industry to have to turn on a light in the background of your game, and have it just magically shine on your character. This is one of the many reasons I love the video game industry so much.
The whole idea of an ambient lighting system is to create a sense of “place,” but a huge part of the idea is that it is very hard to achieve. A single light in the background of a video game is very difficult to achieve. And it is almost impossible to have every shot have a bright light shining in the background, unless you have a massive, gigantic game. Another problem is that ambient lighting has to be very carefully controlled.
