That’s where the “new” part of this sentence comes in. The new electrical systems are not just replacing the old ones, they are actually replacing the entire system. Most people can tell this from the parts of the house as well as from the outside of the house.
With many newer homes, the electrical system is a major portion of the house in the home’s interior. This is why a great part of new construction is to include electrical systems in all new homes. The old parts of the house will remain, but the new electrical systems will be wired to the new part of the house to keep it from being a total blackout.
This is actually kind of a big deal in the case of electrical outlets. After all, if there is no power in the house, then everything that lives in it would die. Therefore, your home would be without power for up to a week. The electrician will come back to replace the electrical outlets during that time. They might even make a few tweaks to the outlets themselves, but the primary goal will be to keep the power going from one side of the house to the other.

You would be more than welcome to use the power to your heart’s delight, because there is no electricity in your home. The purpose of this is to keep you from having to buy expensive and complicated power-saving devices, like air-conditioning units.

This is a huge tax break for the government. It is not actually possible to have electricity when you live in Switzerland, because the power company does not have to build any new lines or tunnels to bring electric power to your home.
Switzerland is a pretty nice country in general, with a strong government, no taxes, relatively low cost of living, and easy transportation. The only reason for the electricity tax is because the government wants to save money for the electric companies, but if you live there you know that is not the case.
This is because electricity is still expensive in Switzerland. It’s a little higher than the average price in the US, but that’s not because there is anything inherently wrong with the country. After all, we can see that the cost of building a new house there is cheaper than in the US, so it must be something with Switzerland.
The good news is that many utilities in Switzerland are actually cheaper than in the US. The problem is that some utilities are much higher than others. There are a few big ones that are so expensive that we don’t dare go back there. One such utility is the water company that is in charge of delivering water to homes that don’t have a tap. The only way to get water to your home is to have an electric outlet installed by the water company.
